Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd.)
The Federal Government has filed a charge of money laundering against former National Security Adviser (NSA), Sambo Dasuki at the Federal High Court in Abuja.
This is in addition to an earlier charge of illegal possession of weapons which Dasuki is currently being tried for.
The fresh charge was filed on Monday, October 26, 2015, by prosecution counsel, Shuaib Labaran, at the resumed hearing of the case against the former NSA.
Labaran also requested that Dasuki be tried secretly, a plea which was contested by the former NSA’s lawyer, Joseph Daudu (SAN).
The case has been adjourned to October 28 by presiding judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola.Dasuki’s troubles began in July after he was removed by President Muhammadu Buhari and saw his homes in Abuja and Sokoto raided by officials of the Department of State Security Services (DSS)|
