Texas police department shared a photo of a booster seat reportedly
used by a 12-year-old boy to seem older when he took over the wheels of
a car, taking it for a drive.
Fulshear Police said in a Facebook post an officer spotted the young driver and pulled him over before he had traveled very far.
Police said the car belonged to a friend's mother and the boy used the booster seat "to appear older" while behind the wheel.
"If he had only added a fake mustache to go with the booster seat, we may have not noticed," they said in the Facebook post.
"No one was hurt" during the boy's joyride, but the incident was "scary just the same."
