5 things Kris Jenner and Tina Knowles have in common

Kris Jenner and Tina Knowles (Real name Celestine Ann Beyoncé-Lawson ) are  two women constantly celebrated in Hollywood for making tremendous impacts to pop culture using the platforms of their children and their personalities. Here are five ways we think they are similar to each other.

• Both women are
  in their 60s! While Tina clocked 61 on January 4th, Kris just turned 60 on November 6. Their families threw them get-together parties to mark their milestone… But the Kardashians had to drop an staggering $2 million for a Gatsby-themed party for their mother!

• Both women are powerful! Kris is the matriarch at the Kardashian household. She runs her large family business as the manager and has succeeded in raising her children to the top of so many money-making ventures. Tina Knowles is the one woman completely respected by the diva, Beyonce! According to the singer, she's industrious, brilliant and one of her biggest inspirations. Both run the 'House of Dereon' fashion line!

• Tina and Kris married famous husbands but likewise suffered horrible public breakups, which they handled with grace. Tina filed for a divorce in 2011 after Matthew Knowles reportedly cheated and got two women pregnant. Meanwhile, Kris' ex, Bruce Jenner transitioned into a woman (Caitlyn Jenner) in 2015 after their divorce went public last year. Good news is both women bounced back like pros. Tina married longtime lover, Richard Lawson in an all-white wedding in 2015 while Kris is allegedly married to hot toyboy, Corey Gamble.

• Both women raised very famous children. Although they weren't able to keep their marriages, they were able to keep the money running through the talents of their kids. Tina is the mother to Beyonce and Solange Knowles.  Two superstars in music and fashion who rake in millions of dollars annually. Kris, without doubt doesn't just have Kim Kardashian as her money-earner, but also introduced Kourtney, Rob, Khloe, Kylie and Kendall Jenner to the business and they are doing more than just fine-- financially!

• Tina and Kris are lucky enough to have two hip hop moguls as sons-in-law! Tinas' daughter, Beyonce is married to top business man and one of the world's most successful rappers, Sean "Jay Z" Carter while Kris' daughter, Kim is married to rapper, producer and fashion designer Kanye West! Both men do not only make and produce great music for themselves and for other musicians but they show up on Forbes' annual list of highest-earners in hip-hop! Guess their kids are in safe hands!
