The 2015 Glamour Women of the Year Awards
held at Carnegie Hall on Monday, November 9, 2015 in New York City and
it was a lovely event as powerful women in different industries were
honoured for making an impact in the world.
Along with Caitlyn Jenner who got ‘The Transgender Champion’ award, the awards honoured Reese Witherspoon, Victoria Beckham, Elizabeth Holmes, Cecile Richards, Misty Copeland, the women of Charleston, S.C. (five women touched by the South Carolina church massacre — Alana Simmons, Nadine Collier, Bethane Middleton-Brown, Felicia Sanders and Polly Sheppard — ), and the entire U.S. women’s national soccer team.
