I Don't Need to Clean the Dressing Room - Mourinho Insists No Radical Changes in Transfers

Chelsea manager, Jose Mourinho

Speaking at his pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's clash with Norwich in the Barclays Premier League, embattled Jose Mourinho insists he has no intention of 'cleaning' the Chelsea dressing room in January by making wholesale changes to his under-performing squad, insisting he trusts the champions to finish in the top four.

The Chelsea manager said:

'I will not ask for any changes. I will not ask the board in January. I'm happy with the players. I trust the players.
'I don't need to clean the dressing room, as I heard was written somewhere. And I don't need to ask the club to spend money in January.
'We put ourselves in a great situation together by being champions. We put ourselves together in this situation in the Premier League. We have to be together, again, to put it right.'

The Barclays Premier League champions are 16th in the table, with three wins and seven losses in 12 games leaving them three points clear of the relegation zone and 15 adrift of leaders Manchester City.
