Singer reveals relationship with mother is "pretty nonexisting

Justin Bieber admits to Billboard Magazine that his once very close relationship with his mother, Pattie Mallette, is currently "pretty nonexistent"; saying he's to be blamed!

Justin Bieber has admitted that his once very close relationship with his mother, Pattie Mallette, is currently "pretty nonexistent"; saying it has now dwindled to almost nothing!

In his recent Billboard interview, which was released on November 5, the 21-year-old singer opened up saying the bond he shares with his 39-year-old mama has completely disintegrated and he is to blame for the rift.

"I was distant because I was ashamed. I never wanted my mom to be disappointed in me and I knew she was. We spent some time not talking, so it takes time to rebuild that trust," Bieber told the mag.

So heartbreaking! Luckily, Justin seems to have realized that he has to put some work in if he’s going to fix things with her, but it won’t be an easy road ahead. "She’s living in Hawaii now, so it’s hard, but getting better," he revealed.

Pattie was the greatest driving force behind Justin’s success, first to foster his love for music at a young age and then entering him in the talent contest that led to meeting his manager Scooter Braun and later Usher. We’re just happy to hear that Pattie still has a well-deserved place in Justin’s heart.  "She’s an amazing woman and I love her."
