The Department of State Services (DSS) has handed the former National Security Adviser(NSA), Sambo Dasuki, over to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission(EFCC) for interrogation.
This is coming on the heels of Governor Ayo Fayose’s comment challenging the DSS and President Buhari over the arrest of Dasuki.
The former NSA was arrested early on Tuesday, December 1, 2015, over the alleged arms deal fraud.
Before his arrest, Dasuki was confined to his house by the DSS, despite two court orders allowing him to travel for medical treatment.
Speaking on the allegations of fraud levelled against him, Dasuki said former President Jonathan approved all the deals, adding that he followed due process.
Also, top officials that worked with the former NSA have also been arrested, including Raymond Dokpesi, founder of Daar Communication, owners of Ray Power radio network and Africa Independent Television.
Sambo Dasuki is a retired Nigerian Army Colonel and a former National Security Adviser during the tenure of President Goodluck Jonathan.
