Female suicide bombers attack Borno town, kill six

At least six people, including a member of Civil­ian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and five suicide bombers were killed in a bomb attack on a security outpost manned by a vigilante group in Borno’s town of Mafa.

It was gathered that some female bombers approached a securi­ty post manned by the CJTF in Mafa, about 40 kilometres to Maiduguri, Borno State yes­terday, killing themselves and one of the youth vigilante.

Northeast Information Of­ficer of the National Emer­gency Management Agency (NEMA), Abdulkair Ibrahim, who confirmed the bomb at­tack in a telephone message, said five members of the CJTF were also injured.
