Fulani herdsmen murder palmwine tapper

Suspected Fulani herdsmen have killed a 30 year old palm-wine tapper, Mr. Inibu in Ofagbe community, Isoko North Local Government Area, Delta State, reports say.
According to Vanguard Newspapers, the herdsmen opened fire at the palmwine tapper and his friend.

Speaking on the incident, the Olotu-Logbo of the Ofagbe Kingdom, Othuke Omejedo said “One woman ran to me that as she was going to the market, she met the lifeless body of a boy lying on the ground on the road leading to Ashaka. She said another one was injured.”
The injured man, Mr. Thompson Ogege has since been taken to the hospital for treatment.
Speaking further, Omejebo said “We have never had any problem with the herdsmen because they have not been living in this community.”
You will recall that suspected Fulani herdsmen allegedly kidnapped Chief Olu Falae.
Meanwhile, farmers in Oyo state have threatened to attack Fulani herdsmen for destroying their farmland.
