Fumes from the explosion from a distance
Residents in the Mechanic village, Warri in Delta state are currently in a state of panic as a pipeline explosion has thrown the people into disarray. Reports have it that the mishap was ignited by the activities of vandals who tampered with NNPC pipelines to siphon petrol.
See what an eyetwitness that broke the news has to say:
"Our vehicle just turned back .....It was caused by vandals of pipeline again.. the pipeline which leads from army checkpoint was vandalized by those rough boys yesterday...... vehicles have stopped moving now"
