Everybody loves Cookie on 'Empire Movie', and it's no secret that one way or the other, the hilarious character played by Taraji P Henson has influenced millions of her fans worldwide.
The entertaining character has been named the most influential fictional character in 2015 by Time Magazine.
"With her high-drama scheming and higher-drama wardrobe, the Lyon family matriarch (played by Taraji P. Henson) was the biggest draw on TV’s most popular new show, Empire, luring more than 13 million viewers a week.
In addition to spawning countless memes and catchphrases, she also helped inspire a clothing line at Saks Fifth Avenue. As Cookie herself said, “That’s my name. Take a bite." Time wrote about character.
Taraji plays Cookie Lyon, the outspoken ex-wife and mother ofLucious Lyon's (Terrence Howard) three sons, who served a 17-year stretch in prison for drug dealing.
