Dino Melaye an apostle of good governance – Bello

The Governor-Elect of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello has saluted the Senator representing Kogi West, Sen. Dino Melaye as he marks his birthday today.

Alhaji Bello in his congratulatory letter to Melaye and signed by Petra Akinti Onyegbule, described him as “an Apostle of good governance and transparency in government businesses”.

His words: “Today, I join thousands of Kogi people to salute our hero of democracy and good governance, Sen. Dino Melaye on the auspicious occasion of his birthday. Melaye has been on the front burners of defending democracy and accountability in our polity.

“As we look forward to building Kogi State from January 27, our government shall be banking on your democratic sagacity in restoring the confidence of the Kogi people in their own government”, he further stated.

Bello however called on Kogi youths to emulate the dynamic commitments of Sen. Melaye to the unity and development of Nigeria and the growth of democracy, urging the people to support the Senator to consolidate on the impressive representation he is providing for the Kogi West people by the Senate.

He also implored the youths of the state to see the incoming administration as one that is committed to the empowerment of the people, assuring them of programs that will directly impact their lives.
