The actress took to her Twitter account to share the exciting news.
Set for ten new episodes, the sixth season of "Game of Thrones" will debut on HBO on Sunday, April 24.
The fifth season of show came to an end in June 2014 with the epic death of Jon Snow. In 2015, Harrngton was spotted around Belfast, Ireland, where the HBO show films its interior scenes.
In a recent interview with BBC Breakfast, Kit Haringtonconfirmed that his " rel="noFollow"Game of Thrones"character was killed at the end of season five.
"I think anyone who wants to know what happens in season six has to wait until it comes out. All I can tell you is Jon Snow is dead. He died at the end of last season," he said.
Emila Clarke earlier teased Season 6 as the show's most shocking yet. In 2015, HBO revealed that there would be at least 8 seasons of the hit show.
