The Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal, on Monday, October 19,
adjourned indefinitely the appeal filed by the embattled Senate
President, Senator Bukola Saraki, to stop his trial before the Code of
Conduct Tribunal.
On Friday, the appeal court had fixed 2pm on Monday, October 19,
for the judgement. However, when the parties, lawyers and journalists
got to the court yesterday, the doors were under lock and key.
The court, though did not give any reason why it could not deliver the judgement.
However, on inquiry at the registry of the court, it was learnt that the judgment had been adjourned indefinitely.
