Film sets Guinness World Record for largest stunt explosion ever [Watch]


007 actor Daniel Craig, Léa Seydoux and producer Barbara Broccoli were recently presented with an official Guinness World Records certificate for the 24th Bond movie “Spectre."
They received the certificate for the movie which just set record for the Largest film stunt explosion ever.
The blast which took place in Erfoud, Morocco, was achieved by detonating 8,418 litres of kerosene with 33 kg of powder explosives - and it lasted for over 7.5 seconds.

 
Speaking on the recognition, the Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said;
“It is absolutely tremendous that the Guinness World Records have recognised Chris Corbould’s incredible work in ‘Sprectre’ in which he created the largest explosion ever in film history.”
"Spectre" recently emerged the biggest opening of all time in UK box office history, bringing in  $63.8 million in its first seven days of release.

  
Directed by Academy Award winning Sam Mendes, the upcoming film stars Daniel Craig, Ben Wishaw, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, David Bautista, Léa Seydoux, Stephanie Sigman, Andrew Scott and Rory Kinnear.
Written by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade,  'Spectre' hits theaters on November 6, 2015.
