The Union, NURTW (Ife Mini Bus) had on Monday 30th November, 2015 reported the action of the Student Union Government of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife over the act of torture on one of its members.

The Union condemned in totality the actions of the students and have halted operations in the school premises in order to protest the torture meted on their member.

However, as at the time of filing this report, unconfirmed report has it that the bus driver has died. Another report revealed that OAU Ile Ife students should keep off campus gate as the drivers (sabo-lagere) are presently at the gate protesting the death of one of their own that was beaten.
