The mobile phone footage taken in New Taipei City’s Tamsui District, in North Taiwan, shows clip of the event that was then uploaded by Chen Shih-fong.

Chen, who was watching his home security feed to inspect the weather outside, unexpectedly caught the moment the tall fridge rolled into shot and travelled down the street as it was propelled by gale-force winds.

One of Chen’s neighbours could also be seen standing in the street below, also seemingly checking out the frightening weather conditions generated by the passing Super Typhoon Megi.
