Students and staff of Lead City University Ibadan numbering more than 100 on Tuesday stormed the Ibadan end of Lagos/Ibadan expressway with various cleaning equipment to clean the environment.
The exercise according to Professor Adetanwa Odebiyi, who led the contingent, was part of activities marking the 10th anniversary of the private institution and also part of effort to inculcate spirit of community service into the students of the school and the staff.
A medical team from the institution also rendered free medical services to people in the neighborhood especially members of National Union of Road Transports Workers (NURTW), men and officers of the Toll-gate Police Station where the free medical stands was located.
